Cappuccino Icebox Recipe:

 INGREDIENTS:

Serving: 6

  • Cream cheese 1 cup (softened)
  • Heavy cream 1 ½ cup (cold)
  • Cocoa ¼ cup (unsweetened)
  • Sugar ½ cup
  • Melted dark semisweet chocolate ½ cup
  • Vanilla extract ½ tsp
  • Chocolate wafer cookies 1 pack
  • Espresso powder 1 tbsp.

PROCEDURE:

Step 1:

Firstly, take a bowl and beat cream cheese, vanilla extract, cream. Cocoa powder and espresso powder until soft peaks form. After that, gradually beat sugar in it until stiff peaks form.

Step 2:

On the other hand, line a pan with plastic wrap. Similarly, line the bottom and sides of the pan with cookies. After that, add half of the cream mixture to the pan and spread it into an even layer.

Step 3:

Thirdly, top the first layer of the cream mixture with cookies. In the same vein, spread the remaining cream mixture forming a second layer.

Step 4:

Likewise, top with another double layer of cookies on the cream mixture. Cover the pan with plastic and refrigerate overnight.

Step 5:

The next day, take the pan out refrigerator, remove plastic from the pan, and transfer it onto a serving platter. Most importantly, serve this frozen dessert immediately from the fridge. In conclusion, drizzle with melted chocolate.
