INGREDIENTS:

  • Cinnamon 1 tsp
  • Chocolate spread 1 cup
  • Chocolate chips ½ cup
  • Eggs 2 (at room temperature)
  • Warm milk ¾ cup
  • Melted butter 3 tbsp
  • Granulated sugar 1/3 cup
  • Yeast 1 packet
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • All-purpose flour 4 cup

For The Cream Cheese Glaze:

  • Salt 1 pinch
  • Milk 1 tbsp
  • Powdered sugar 1 cup
  • Cream cheese 1 tbsp

PROCEDURE:

Step 1:

Firstly: take a large bowl and combine the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.

Step 2:

Secondly, make well in between the ingredients and add butter, milk, and eggs. Now use your hands to stir everything together until it forms a dough. If your dough is wet, add some flour to it. Most importantly, turn your dough onto a floured surface, knead for 5 minutes and place it in a loosely covered bowl to proof for just 30 minutes.

Step 3:

After 30 minutes, roll the dough in a rectangular shape and spread the chocolate spread over it. Also, sprinkle chocolate chips on it. (the dough should be thin)

Step 4:

Roll the rising dough from the long edge into a log. Cut off the side of the dough where these in not enough filling. Cut the dough into 12 equal buns and place the buns on the prepared pan for baking. (leave some space between the buns).

Step 5:

After that, bake the buns for 35 minutes, rotating the pan half-way through. Meanwhile, put a small saucepan on a medium flame and combine the powdered sugar, cream, cream cheese, vanilla, and salt. Wisk together the ingredients until no clumps remain and bring to a simmer and take off the heat.

Step 6:

In conclusion, drizzle the glaze over the warm cinnamon buns and serve hot.
