If you’re a chocolate lover and are craving for some thick and chunky cookies that are soft, chewy and packed with loads of chocolate, you’re going to fall madly in love of these chocolaty cookies made from this chocolate cookies recipe.

Assemble the following ingredients, first:

 

 

 

INGREDIENTS:

Serving: 10-12 large cookies

  • Butter ½ cup (115 grams) (unsalted, roughly chopped)
  • Brown sugar 1 cup
  • Large egg 1 (cold
  • Pinch of salt
  • All-purpose flour 1 and ½ cup
  • Cocoa powder ½ cup
  • Baking powder ½ tsp
  • Dark chocolate chips 1 cup
  • Dark chocolate chunks 1 cup (chopped by hand)

PROCEDURE:

Step 1:

First, Set your oven for preheat at 375-degree F. Line your baking tray with parchment paper and set aside.

Step 2:

Next, Take a large bowl, add cold butter and sugar. Mix both the ingredients well until it forms a creamy texture. Then, add egg and again mix the batter until combined. (Using an electric beater is preferable, just avoid over mixing)

Step 3:

Now add some flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt, beat the batter lightly until all the ingredients combine and for a soft cookie dough.

Step 4:

Then, add chopped chocolate chunks and chocolate chips into the dough and give it a light mix with hand beater.

Step 5:

Next, take almost 2 tsp of dough on your palm, roll it into balls and place them in the baking pan giving some space in between for the cookie to spread. (use cookie scoop to give a proper shape to your delicious cookies)

Step 6:

Finally, bake them in the pre-heated oven for 12-14 minutes. Take them out when they start turning dark. Then let them sit in the baking pan for 5 minutes.  They will firm up as they cool.
