INGREDIENTS:
Cookie crust
Cookie crumbs 1 ½ cups (sugar cookie or graham cracker)
Unsalted butter 6 tbsp (melted)
Granulated sugar ¼
Mixed raw nuts 2 ½ cups
Dark Chocolate Ganache Filling:
Dark chocolate 1 ½ cups (finely chopped)
Unsalted butter 4 tbsp (at room temperature)
Heavy cream 2 cups
Toppings
Walnuts (crushed)
PROCEDURE:
Step 1:
Firstly, preheat your oven to 350-degree F. Pulse almonds in a food processor until finely ground. After that, add flour, sugar, and pulse until combined. Now, add butter and pulse until coarse crumbs form.
Step 2:
After that, immediately transfer the dough to a pan lined with parchment paper. Press the dough evenly from the bottom and sides using a cup. Bake the crust until golden brown and firm to the touch for about 20 minutes. After that, cool it for an hour.
Step 3:
Meanwhile, place the chocolate in a large mixing bowl for chocolate ganache. Bring cream to boil in a saucepan and pour hot through a sieve over the chocolate. Stir until smooth in texture.
Step 4:
In conclusion, Pour the chocolate mixture into the center of the cooled tart shell. Let stand until set for about 2 hours/ refrigerate for 1 hour. Serve with crushed walnuts on top.
