Chocolate Noise is a woman-owned social enterprise obsessed with bean-to-bar chocolate. We lead team-building chocolate tastings for the corporate world. Our guests learn everything from how to taste artisanal chocolate like an expert to how transparent trade works to how to pair fine chocolate with fine wine. Our chocolate sommeliers have over 30 yearsâ collective experience in the chocolate world, studying the cocoa supply chain, working at some of the best artisanal chocolate companies in the world, and judging bean-to-bar chocolate competitions. We work closely with the craft chocolate community in the U.S. and in cacao-growing regions, sharing profits and contributing to social justice projects across the world. Our tastings and work have been featured in The New York Times and Bon Appetit, and on the History Channel.
Chocolate University is a neighborhood and global outreach initiative of Askinosie Chocolate and The Askinosie Foundation. As an experiential learning program for local students with an international reach, we aim to inspire students, through the lens of artisan chocolate making, to be global citizens, know themselves and their opportunities and embrace the idea that small businesses can solve world problems.

If so, this class is only an introduction. While I teach some of the fundamentals of chocolate candy making, this is not a chocolatier school. Of course rounding out your chocolate education with what we teach might be good for your business. And my separate chocolate coaching programs can help support you with troubleshooting.

If so, you will need more than this class. In this class you can experience the bean and the bar, and I will go over such things as tempering chocolate. But I am not going to show you how to start from raw ingredients to make your own designer chocolate.

CocoaTown is the first company that identified the equipment need for making craft chocolate from cocoa beans called Bean to Bar industry. We design, develop, manufacture and market patented machines to create âBean to Barâ chocolate and gourmet foods. We have a strong R&D department and constantly improve our machines based on customer feedback. We employ advanced manufacturing methods such as laser cutting, CNC machining, 3D design etc. We are a truly innovative company and have patents for two lines of machines and are in the process of obtaining one more.
We are located in Atlanta GA, USA but ship around the world. CocoaTown has received "Globe Award" for exporting to new markets, from State of GA for 2018 & 2019.
