Vegan Chocolate Truffles Recipe:

INGREDIENTS:

For Chocolate Ganache:

  • Dark chocolate 1 ½ cups (very finely chopped)
  • Unsweetened coconut milk
  • Coconut cream 1 cup
  • Unsweetened Cocoa powder ¼ cup

For the Chocolate Coating:

  • Vega chocolate 1 and ¾ cups
  • Coconut oil 1 tsp

For Decoration:

  • Chocolate shavings
  • Toasted coconut flakes

PROCEDURE:

Step 1:

Firstly, take a bowl and add chocolate for mixing. Meanwhile, heat coconut cream to a simmer (not to overheat)

Step 2:

Secondly, pout the simmering cream over the finely chopped chocolate pieces and leave to sit for around 1 minute to melt. After that, mix both ingredients into a chocolate sauce.

Step 3:

Thirdly, place the bowl into the fridge until it gives a solid texture (for about 2-3 hours). After that, when set, use an ice cream scoop to scoop out an even amount of the ganache and drop it into the cocoa powder. Most importantly, use your hands to roll it into a ball.

Step 4:

After that, take a pan lined with parchment paper and place the balls. When all the balls get rolled, place the pan into the freezer to harden.

Step 5:

Meanwhile, break the chocolate into pieces and microwave it for 30 seconds. After that, take it out of the microwave and stir it until it gets completely smooth and melted.

Step 6:

As the balls get hard, take them out of freezer. After that, drop each ball one by one into the melted chocolate and back on to the parchment-lined tray.

Step 7:
